Congratulations to Ivy Tech and the students!

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – In the most recent academic year, Ivy Tech Community College’s Lawrenceburg campus reached a 100% pass rate on nursing graduates taking the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX). The NCLEX is the professional exam that nursing students are required to pass in order to receive a registered nursing license.
The National Council of State Boards of Nursing published that 2020 national average for passing the NCLEX is 89.61%. Since 2018, Ivy Tech Lawrenceburg has maintained an average pass rate of 96.6% but increased to 100% in the most recent academic year.
Ivy Tech Lawrenceburg offers an Associate of Science in Nursing Degree, which trains students to become Registered Nurses (RN), and a Practical Nursing Certificate, which trains students to become a Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN). The campus also offers a bridge program that allows LPNs to train to become RNs.
