INDIANPOLIS - State Sen. Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg) welcomed local students to the Statehouse who served as Senate pages during this year’s legislative session:

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senator.

“Having students from my district come page for a day at the Statehouse is one of my favorite parts of session,” Leising said. “This is a great opportunity for them to learn about the legislative process.”

Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the session.
