(Undated) - Don't forget to change your clocks this weekend.
Daylight Saving Time begins Sunday, March 8 at 2:00 a.m., meaning clocks should be set forward by one hour on Sunday.
Daylight Saving decreases the amount of sunlight in the morning but allows more light in the evening. It will run through Sunday, November 1.
Along with setting clocks forward, fire chiefs recommend homeowners to change their smoke alarm batteries this weekend.
