Ripley Co. Experiencing Flooded Roadways

(Ripley County, Ind.) - Ripley County is experiencing flooded roadways on both major highways and county roads, according to Ripley County Emergency Communications. 

Roadways experiencing flooding are: 

  • State Road 62: specifically at the intersection of Friendship Main St and Cave Hill Road. This roadway is closed.
  • The area of County Road 225 West, south of 800 South
  • The area of County Roads 450 North and 350 West
  • The area of County Roads 400 West and 550 South
  • South Cavehill Road: south of US-50 in the area of the Steel Bridge that crosses over Laughery Creek. This has been reported to us as impassable

Motorists are reminded to never drive through flooded roads.
