Versailles Welcomes New Grocery Store

(Versailles, Ind.) - Versailles residents now have a new in-town option for grocery shopping. A new Hometown IGA store opens in the shopping center on Adams Street-US 421, according to The Osgood Journal. The store is owned and operated by Robert and Dotty Wood. The Versailles Hometown IGA will employ about 30 people and be open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Folks in Versailles were forced to travel out-of-town in order to find a full service grocery store when the previous store at that location closed a couple months ago, the Journal report.
