(St. Leon, Ind.) - Six East Central High School FFA students recently competed at the state level.
Jared Enda took first place in Agricultural Sales Entrepreneurship. His proficiency application will advance to the National FFA Convention this October, where he will represent East Central on a national stage.
Enda will also be recognized at the Indiana State FFA Convention in June.
Cambryn Botts placed second in Specialty Animal Production. Parker Simpson took fourth in Forest Management and Products.
Ashtyn Galey had a top 10 finish, placing seventh in Swine Production.
Tyler Stenger was 13th in Poultry Production, while Shelby Dawson finished 14th in Sheep Production.
Each student has developed special skills through their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE), which can enhance possibilities for their future career.
