(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The Short Street Pavilion is coming soon.

The City of Lawrenceburg announced today that groundbreaking on the project will take place Wednesday, March 12 at 1:00 p.m.

It was announced in October of 2022 that the City acquired a property at Williams and Short streets for $550,000.

Fencing has gone up around the construction site, which has recently been used as a parking lot for Proof 124 Table & Tavern.

The Short Street Pavilion will be a multi-purpose space that will host the ice-skating rink in the winter and the Farmers Market in the spring and summer, among other events. The project will also include additional public restrooms.
