The Walnut Street Lobby will be open to collect medication from noon to 4:00 p.m.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Need a spot to safely dispose your unused or leftover medication? Head to the Lawrenceburg Ivy Tech tomorrow!
On Tuesday, July 28, the Ivy Tech Riverfront Campus will be holding a Drug Take Back Day to collect medication that could potentially put you and your family at risk.
From 12:00 to 4:00 p.m., the Walnut Street Lobby will be open to collect unwanted prescription medications that were not entirely used or have expired.
Sharps or liquids will not be accepted, those will need to be taken to the Health Department. Whether it be over-the-counter or a prescribed medication, everything else will be accepted. It does not have to be in the original bottle or labeled.
Visit Ivy Tech in Lawrenceburg on Tuesday to properly dispose of any unwanted or unused prescription medications in your possession!
