Culvert Replacements Begins Today On S.R. 62 In Ripley & Jefferson Counties

Throughout the week, there will be daily road closures from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

(Ripley/Jefferson County, Ind.) — The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announced that maintenance crews will begin a culvert replacement project on State Route 62 in Ripley and Jefferson Counties today. 

Throughout the week, there will be daily road closures from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to replace a total of six pipes between Cross Plains and State Route 250 near Canaan. Access will be maintained for residents within the closure. 

Replacements are expected to be complete by the end of next week, weather dependent. Schedules are subject to change.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and use extra caution through work zones.
