(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – The person accused of firing multiple gunshots inside Concepts Gentleman’s Club has been sentenced.
Last August, Francisca Vazquez, also known as Francisco, allegedly fired multiple shots inside the club before demanding money and fleeing the scene. The crime scene’s close proximity caused a lockdown and cancellations of events at Lawrenceburg schools.
Vazquez pleaded guilty to Armed Robbery (Level 3 Felony) on March 3 in Dearborn Superior Court I. The negotiated plea agreement came just days before Vasquez was set for a jury trial.
In exchange for the plea, charges of kidnapping, criminal confinement, intimidation, pointing a firearm and resisting law enforcement were dismissed.
Following the plea agreement, Judge Jonathan Cleary sentenced Vazquez to 16 years behind bars with six years suspended to probation.
Vazquez received 271 days total credit time for accrued time and good time spent between August 14 and March 3.
