Man Gets Jail, Probation For Child Porn Possession

(Hamilton, Oh.) - A Harrison High School graduate is sentenced for possessing child pornography.

 

Branden Snyder, 21, of Okeana, was sentenced Wednesday in Butler County, Ohio court after coming to a plea agreement on two counts of Pandering Sexually Oriented Matter Involving a Minor.

 

According to WLWT-TV, Snyder initially faced up to 45 years in prison, but his plea deal helped reduce his sentence to just 90 days in jail and three years probation. Snyder must register as a tier 2 sex offender.

 

The judge also ordered Snyder to not have a personal computer. He will be allowed to access public computers when he enrolls in college at Cincinnati State.

 

Snyder is serving his jail sentenced at the Butler County Jail.
