US 50 had to be temporarily shut down on Thursday due to the accident.

(Versailles, Ind.) - U.S. 50 near Versailles had to be closed on Thursday afternoon for a traffic accident.
Versailles Firefighters responded to the accident around 3:47 p.m., about two miles east of the Versailles area.
Upon arrival, the vehicle involved was located off the roadway and on fire.
No injuries were reported and a cause of the crash remains unknown.
Versailles Fire Rescue was assisted at the scene by Ripley County EMS, Indiana State Police, Ripley County Sheriff's Office and Indiana Conservation Officer.
