Sixteen Trojans Sign to Play College Sports

(St. Leon, Ind.) - Wednesday was a big day at East Central High School. 

Sixteen senior student-athletes signed their letters of intent to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level. The signings spanned several sports including baseball, football, soccer, wrestling, track and field, and swimming and diving.

  • Will Kemper – Track and Field (University of Indianapolis)
  • Rylee Edwards – Track and Field (Northern Kentucky University)
  • Miles Inman – Track and Field and Cross Country (Defiance College)
  • Tyler Cook – Football (Defiance College)
  • Anthony Darpel – Football (Tiffin University)
  • Wyatt Metcalf – Football (Mount St. Joseph University)
  • Kylee Ferreira – Soccer (Mount St. Joseph University)
  • Leighna Prater – Wrestling (Hiram University)
  • Bree Cleary – Dive (Indiana State University)
  • Reagan Reany – Swim (Campbellsville University)
  • Ava Russell – Swim (University of Indianapolis)
  • Connor Murray – Swim (Salem University)
  • Brennan Lewis – Soccer (Mount St. Joseph University)

These 16 signees join nine other student-athletes that previously signed letters of intent earlier this year, bringing the total to 25 for the year.
