(Rising Sun, Ind.) - The Ohio County Community Foundation has awarded St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Inc. the 2026 Annual Celebration Grant
The $10,028 grant was awarded to help with their Project Heart Restart program, which will see five AEDs be put in Ohio County Sheriff's Department cruisers to strengthen emergency response.
The purchase of the AEDs includes equipment, pads, carrying case, training and a 2-year subscription for tech support. These devices will increase the chances of an Ohio County resident surviving an emergency cardiac episode.
The Annual OCCF Celebration Grant Program is a competitive grant program which supports projects or programs outside of the organization’s normal funding capabilities and must benefit the residents of Ohio County.
