Another Meth Bust In Gallatin Co.

(Glencoe, Ky.) – Police in Gallatin County have taken down their third meth lab in just three weeks.

 

Kentucky State Police troopers discovered the lab in a home at 4175 Highway 16 in Glencoe at about 1:00 a.m. Monday. Inside the home were six grams of methamphetamine and several ingredients used to manufacture the drug.

 

Two residents were arrested. Lois Combs, 48, was charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense, Unlawful Distribution of Meth Precursors, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

 

Robert Jump, 52, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, Unlawful Distribution of Meth Precursors, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana

 

Troopers continue to investigate the lab bust.

 

Meth labs are proving to be a widespread problem in Gallatin County. Kentucky State Police found a lab at a home on Boone Trail in Warsaw last Thursday, January 12 in which a child was present in the home. The mother was arrested.

 

Four people were arrested following a lab bust on Highway 562 near Warsaw on December 28.
