The non-competitive event takes place April 25.

(Batesville, Ind.) - Margaret Mary Health Foundation invites community members of all ages and abilities to take part in the upcoming Hospice 5K on Saturday, April 25.

This non-competitive event welcomes both walkers and runners, and proceeds benefit the Foundation’s Hospice Fund, supporting compassionate end-of-life care for patients and families in the region.

The event will take place at the Margaret Mary Outpatient & Cancer Center, located at 24 Six Pine Ranch Road in Batesville. Registration begins at 8 a.m., and the 5K will start at 9 a.m.

Sponsored by the Margaret Mary Health Foundation and presented by Baxter, the Hospice 5K aims to bring the community together in support of local hospice services while encouraging participants to enjoy a healthy and meaningful morning outdoors. A complimentary breakfast will be available after the walk.

The event is open to participants of all fitness levels, including walkers, runners, families and community groups. Because the event is non-competitive, it offers a welcoming environment for anyone who wants to participate and support a meaningful cause.

All are encouraged to register in advance at mmhealth.org/hospice-5k. The deadline to receive a T-shirt is April 3.
