UPDATE: Police ID Florence Crash Victim

Photo courtesy WLWT.com. Update published Friday, July 24 at 6:53 a.m. A 20-year-old Hebron man has been identified as the victim in a fatal crash in Florence Thursday morning. Boone County Sheriff's deputies say 20-year-old Nicholas Wilde was pronounced dead at the crash scene at the intersection of Ted Bushelman Boulevard and Aero Parkway. Wilde’s Volvo sedan had gone off the road, he then overcorrected, and the car swung into the path of a minivan. The driver of the van, Stephen O’Bryan, 47, was hospitalized at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence with minor injuries.   Update published Thursday, July 23 at 11:42 a.m.: A man was killed and another was hurt in a wreck on Ted Bushelman Boulevard near Aero Parkway in Florence Thursday morning, according to the Boone County Sheriff's Office. A Volvo sedan and a Toyota minivan collided around 7:00 a.m. The Volvo was heading east on Ted Bushelman Boulevard when the vehicle went off the right side of the road. The driver overcorrected and steered back onto the roadway, but crossing into the path of the minivan heading westbound. The vehicles hit, causing the Volvo to overturn just off the highway. The driver of the Volvo was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been relased. The driver of the minivan, Stephen O'Bryan, 47, was hospitalized with minor injuries. The sheriff's office is continuing to investigate the crash.   Original story published Thursday, July 23 at 8:05 a.m.: (Florence, Ky.) - A person has died after a Thursday morning vehicle wreck in Florence. A wreck involving two vehicles occurred around 7:00 a.m. at the intersection of Aero Parkway and Ted Bushelman Boulevard. One of the vehicle was overturned. The Boone County Coroner has been dispatched to the scene. It is unclear if any other injuries were involved. Both roads remain closed. Listen to Eagle 99.3 for the latest local traffic information.
