By Mike Perleberg Update published at 7:50 a.m.: A woman died following a crash on North Dearborn Road near Dover on Thursday afternoon. Deputies with the Dearborn County Sheriff's Department responded to the 7200 block of North Dearborn Road for a report of a single vehicle accident, says Deputy Brian Jansen. It was determined that the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. The female was transferred to Mercy West where she was pronounced dead. Her identity has not been released by police. The accident is still under investigation by the Dearborn County Sheriff's Department, which was assisted at the scene by Bright Fire & EMS and St. Leon Fire Department. Original story published at 7:08 a.m.: (Dearborn County, Ind.) - A person was killed in a crash on North Dearborn Road Thursday. The deadly wreck happened just west of Dover at around 4:30 p.m. The name of the victim has not been released. It is unclear if anybody else was injured. The crash is being investigated by the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department.
