(Versailles, Ind.) – A teenager found guilty of double-murder will be sentenced this week.
Nickalas Kedrowitz was convicted by a Ripley County jury in August 2021 for the murder of his 23-month-old sister, Desiree McCartney and his 11-month-old brother, Nathaniel Ritz.
The two murders came just 81 days apart.
Kedrowitz was 13 at the time of the murders. A judge found he was competent to stand trial and his case was waived to adult court.
He will be sentenced Tuesday, February 1 at 1:30 p.m. in Ripley Circuit Court.
He faces 45-65 years in prison on each count of murder.
