(Brookville, Ind.) - Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Paul H. Rohe Company is scheduled to begin a bridge deck overlay project on U.S. 52 over the East Fork Whitewater River on or after Monday, April 6, in Brookville.
The project will take place between High Street and Sonja Avenue and is expected to be complete in late August, weather permitting.
During the project, U.S. 52 will be reduced to one lane using temporary traffic signals.
This project is part of a $2.2 million contract awarded to Paul H. Rohe Company in November 2025. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
