An arrest was made on Tuesday after executing a search warrant at a Carrollton home.

(Carroll County, Ky.) - Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch made an arrest on Tuesday that was related to child sexual abuse material.
Chrystal G. Birch, 33, of Carrollton, was arrested as result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect sharing images of child sexual exploitation online.
The investigation resulted in a search warrant at a residence in Carrollton. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is ongoing.
Birch is currently charged with two counts of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance under 12 years old and three counts of possession of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance under 12 years old.
These charges are Class-C felonies, punishable by five to ten years in prison. Ms. Birch was lodged in the Carroll County Detention Center.
