Batesville Teams Place at NASP State Tournament

Several area school teams have qualified for nationals.

INDIANAPOLIS – Several southeastern Indiana schools competed at the Indiana NASP State Bullseye and 3D Tournaments over the weekend in Indianapolis.

In the NASP State Bullseye Tournament, Batesville placed second out of 32 high schools. Batesville Middle School finished third place out of 38 middle schools. In the elementary division, Batesville placed second out of 25 teams.

All three Batesville teams earned entry into the national competition.

Trace Scott was the top performer for Batesville High School with a 291. For Batesville Middle School, Rebecca Siebert had the top score of 279. Colton Kinker led the way for Batesville Intermediate with a 263.

3D Tournament

High School (out of 9)

  • Jennings County, 4th place, national qualifier
  • Batesville, 7th place, national qualifier

Middle School (out of 15)

  • Madison, 6th place, national qualifier
  • Jennings County, 8th place, national qualifier
  • Batesville, 9th place, national qualifier

Elementary (out of 8)

  • Batesville, 3rd place, national qualifier

National qualifiers will compete at the NASP Eastern National Bullseye and 3D Tournaments May 5-7 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville.
