(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Another athletic facility upgrade is in the works at Lawrenceburg High School.
Construction is currently ongoing at the high school's track and field facility.
In addition to a recently refurbished track, the infield is being converted into a soccer/football turf field for students to practice and play on. The natural grass infield was used for boys and girls soccer matches before LHS installed a turf field at The Pit in 2015.
In recent years, turf fields were installed at the LHS baseball and softball facilities.
The project completion date has not been announced.
