Saturday Is A Free Fishing Day In Indiana

Grab your rod and reel and fish in any public waterway in Indiana without a license on May 19, 2018.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - You won’t need a license to fish in Indiana’s public waterways this weekend.

Saturday, May 19, is the second of four Free Fishing Days in Indiana this year.

Free Fishing Days are prime opportunities for families to learn to fish because adults do not need a fishing license on those days. Children ages 17 and younger do not need a license on any day.

The final two Free Fishing Days for 2018 are June 2 and 3.
