The nursing home in Milan has received the ACHCA's 2018 Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award.

Ripley Crossing in Milan, Indiana.
(Milan, Ind.) - A local nursing home has been named the recipient of an award for top-notch performance.
Ripley Crossing in Milan has met the quality criteria necessary for the 2018 American College of Health Care Administrators Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award. Only about 11 percent of facilities nationwide earn the award.
“ACHCA commends you and your team at Ripley Crossing on being one of the top performing skilled nursing facilities in the nation for 2017,” ACHCA Board of Directors chair Stefan Fromm wrote in a May 9 letter to Ripley Crossing administrator Trina Johnson.
To receive the Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award, a skilled nursing facility achieve excellence well beyond the Five Star rating system. Criteria are carefully reviewed and updated each year, to assure that top-performing facilities are duly recognized and that the award continues to raise the bar for organizational performance.
Founded in 1990, Ripley Crossing is locally owned and operated. It offers rehabilitation services, independent living apartments, long term care, and dementia care.
