Ripley Co. Community Foundation Awards Small Grants

A total of $3,800 went to 9 of our local organizations’ projects.

(Ripley County, Ind.) - The Ripley County Community Foundation has awarded its 2nd Round of Small Grants for a total of $3,800 supporting 9 of our local organizations’ projects. The Margaret Mary Health Foundation received a grant for Autism Therapy training for nurses to support our local children, the Osgood Public Library was granted funding to start their new Art in the Library Program, Southeastern Indiana YMCA received funds to update their family friendly Recreational Room, the Milan Summer Baseball, Inc. received funding to construct new batting cages, Main Street Versailles was granted funds to support this year’s Bicentennial Celebration, Southeastern Indiana Mountain Bike Association was granted funding to purchase equipment needed to maintain the trails at the Versailles State Park, the Twice Blessed Resale Store of OA was granted funds for their “Walk this Way” program, Sunman American Legion Post 337 received funds to purchase new appliances for their kitchen, and the Tyson Activity Center was awarded funding to start their Pickle Ball Program, which is the new talk of the town so be sure to check it out!

We appreciate that local organizations look to RCCF as a trusted resource supporting their missions.” Stated Amy Streator, Executive Director.
