By Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, news release

Traffic impacts will occur Jan. 7-8.

(Petersburg, Ky.) - Beginning today, there will be several traffic impacts you'll want to be aware of on the Carroll Cropper Bridge for the ongoing zone painting project.

On Wednesday and Thursday (Jan 7-8), a right lane closure will be in place on I-275 westbound starting near the Petersburg exit. This will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

❗ NOTE: The lane will reopen in time for the afternoon rush. During the closure, the contractor will complete the final rigging components for a work platform that will be used during the project.

Second, beginning at 9 p.m. Wednesday night, crews will conduct several 15-minute rolling roadblocks on I-275 eastbound (Indiana into Kentucky). This will allow the contractor to safely complete joint sealing work. This should be completed by 5 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8 ahead of the morning commute.
