Kilby Road Crash Injures Two

(Whitewater Township, Oh.) - Women from Harrison and Lawrenceburg were hurt in a head-on crash in Whitewater Township Sunday morning.

Hamilton County Sheriff's Office deputies say Jennifer Lessard, 28, of Harrison, was driving her Dodge Neon south on the 1600 block of Kilby Road when she lost control of her car and it veered into the oncoming lane at about 11:30 a.m.

Lessard’s vehicle struck a Nissan Maxima driven by Cathy Lock, 62, of Lawrenceburg.

Both drivers were trapped in their vehicles following the crash.

Upon being freed from the wreckage, Lessard was taken to University Hospital in Cincinnati by aircare. She was last listed in critical condition.

Lock was taken by ambulance and was in stable condition.

Deputies say drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
