(Kenton County, Ky.) - A Kenton County grand jury has indicted the cousin of a woman whose body was dumped in Rabbit Hash following her murder.
Police say Kenneth Maurice Jones killed Denita “Marci” Satchwell at her home in Covington as he plotted to steal her prescription medications in June. Satchwell was going through stage four cancer.
This week, Jones, 38 was indicted on several charges, including murder, attempted robbery, and tampering with evidence. He faces a minimum of 20 years in prison if convicted.
Brandon Reaves, 18, and a juvenile are also facing charges in connection with Satchwill’s murder.
Jones remains held in the Kenton County Jail on a $1 million bond. Reaves’ bond is $50,000.
