(Vevay, Ind.) – A fundraising event has been scheduled to aid a six-year boy who was struck by a vehicle.
On April 20, Hayden Griswold was riding his big wheel on the 500 block of Pearl Street in Vevay when he was struck and trapped underneath a vehicle.
Griswold was airlifted to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, where he underwent surgery for injuries sustained in the accident.
Although Hayden is healing well, a benefit to help with overwhelming medical expenses will take place Saturday, June 2 at 2:00 p.m. in the Community Building in Vevay.
Those who are unable to attend the benefit can still donate by visiting any Friendship State Bank branch. Donations can be made out to the Hayden Griswold Benefit Fund.
