4th Farm Vandal Arrested, Waived To Adult Court

(Franklin County, Ind.) - A fourth teen has been arrested for a 2010 vandalism spree in Franklin County last year.

 

The Batesville Herald Tribune reports that Ronny Paul, 17, of Batesville, was arrested October 13 and has been waived to adult court in Franklin County Circuit Court. He is charged with three counts of arson, one count of burglary, and four counts of mischief.

 

Three other men had previously been arrested for the vandalism at several farms in Franklin County last year. Farms in Ripley and Decatur counties were also victimized.

 

Kenneth R. Partlow II, 19, of Sunman faced 17 felony and eight misdemeanor counts including arson, burglary, theft, and criminal mischief. He reached a plea agreement and is serving a 14 year prison sentence.

 

Travis W. Christenberry, 22, of Batesville was accused of five felonies and one misdemeanor of similar charges. Jury trials in Ripley and Franklin counties are scheduled.

 

Eric M. Carpenter, 20, of Versailles, was charged with one count of Receiving Stolen Property.

 

Indiana State Police said at the time of the first arrests that the damage from the vandalism totaled hundreds of thousands of dollars.
