(Aurora, Ind.) - After winning the 2026 Rivertown Classic, South Dearborn's boys basketball team has been recognized by the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association.
South Dearborn joins Oak Hills boys' team and the Plainfield and Princeton girls' teams as the IBCA Teams of the Week for January 5-10.
The Knights defeated Switzerland County (67-34) and Lawrenceburg (52-34) to win their second straight Rivertown Classic Championship and a record 11 titles overall.
Junior forward Wyatt Adams was named MVP of the tournament. He led the Knights in scoring both games with 21 points versus Switzerland County and 19 points against Lawrenceburg.
He was joined on the All-Tourney Team by fellow juniors Scout Gray and Tyler Christian.
South Dearborn is currently 8-2 under first year head coach Brad Moorhead. They are back in action on Wednesday night when they host Cooper (Ky.).
