JCD, Milan, Rising Sun Student Athletes Among Weekly ORVC Honorees

(Rising Sun, Ind.) - Five student athletes have earned weekly honors from the Ohio River Valley Conference. 

The ORVC Report for December 1-6 was released on Tuesday. 

Milan's Emma Voss was named the ORVC Girls Basketball Player of the Week. The Indians' star totaled 47 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 steals in two games. She also converted 19-of-21 free throw attempts. 

The ORVC Boys Basketball Players of the Week are Jac-Cen-Del's Darian Grieshop and Southwestern's Brady Cook. Grieshop scored 28 points and added 10 rebounds, six assists and three steals in two games. Cook had similar numbers, putting up 28 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and three steals in two games. 

Rising Sun's Max Mossburger and Olivia Graver swept the ORVC Swim Performers of the Week.
