This year's event will also celebrate America's 250th anniversary.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The City of Lawrenceburg's annual Community Picnic will also celebrate America's 250th Anniversary.
The free event will take place on Saturday, April 25 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Civic Park.
The day will be filled with local food, music, cornhole, carnival rides for the kids and the Splash Pad will be open. Grill stations and food service lines will be hosted by police, fire and city staff.
The Opening Ceremony with Mayor Kelly Mollaun will start at 4:00 p.m. PG Gentrup and the S.E. Indiana Honor Guard with Vietnam Veterans Chapter 71 will follow with a military salute. The National Anthem will be performed by Logan Gilb.
