(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - A Dearborn County employee wanted for Reckless Homicide and other charges remains at-large.

Vickie Holdcraft, 58, allegedly failed to seek out help for her sister, Priscilla “Pody” Frieberger, last October.

Frieberger, obese and disabled at age 61, died after being stuck in a cloth recliner for three weeks at the home the sisters shared on Wilson Creek Road in Lawrenceburg. She had retired less than a year earlier after 40 years at the Dearborn County Auditor’s Office.

Holdcraft was indicted by a Dearborn County Grand Jury on Friday. A warrant was issued for her arrest the same day.

The Dearborn County Prosecutor’s Office says Holdcraft was not in custody as of Monday morning.

Holdcraft did not report to work at the Dearborn County Health Department, an employee there said. On the department’s website, she is listed as an assistant in the environmental health division.

A phone call to the home went unanswered and the messaging machine was full.
