(Friendship, Ind.) – Two motorcycle riders were injured in a crash on Sunday afternoon.
Friendship Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the accident on Olean Road around 12:47 p.m.
Upon arrival, first responders determined that an eastbound motorcycle lost control, skidded and left the roadway striking two trees.
Both riders suffered serious injuries and were transported by Ripley County EMS to the Friendship Volunteer Fire Department, where they were airlifted for treatment.
The accident remains under investigation.
The names of those involved were not released.
