Two Injured In Old U.S. 52 Crash

The crash happened Monday near Lakeview.

(Franklin County, Ind.) – One person had to be airlifted to a Cincinnati hospital and another was injured following a two-vehicle accident in Franklin County.

Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash on Old U.S. 52 near Lakeview on September 3.

Deputies say Becky J. Paugh, 22, of Rushville, was eastbound on Old U.S. 52 when her vehicle went left of center and collided head-on with a westbound vehicle driven by Anthony M. Sizemore, 30, of Laurel.

Paugh’s passenger, Tamela M. Conley, 28, of Laurel, was flown by air care to UC Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident.

Paugh was transported to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries. Sizemore was not injured.
