Local traffic will be allowed to pass through a portion of the road.

(Switzerland County, Ind.) – A portion of State Road 156 will close this week for a pipe replacement project.
Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance personnel plan to replace a drainage pipe under State Road 156 on Wednesday, August 29 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
INDOT says only local traffic will be permitted at State Road 156’s intersection with State Road 250 in Patriot and on State Road 156 at State Road 101 at Markland Dam.
There will be no through traffic between Turtle Creek Road and Wades Hill Road.
