Versailles Hit Hard With Storm Damage

Damage was done to businesses, homes, trees, power lines and signs.

(Versailles, Ind.) – Heavy storms caused significant damage in Versailles over night Wednesday.

Pollard’s Bowl, The Rusty Buck and the old Alco store were among the businesses that were damaged.

Other area businesses and homes were damaged as well, in addition to downed trees, power lines and signs.

As of Thursday morning, power has yet to be restored in Versailles.

Town of Versailles officials are asking residents to stay home so work crews can do their jobs safely.
