Ripley Co. Fire Departments Battle Early Morning House Fire

The fire broke out Thursday just after 4:00 a.m.

(Ripley County, Ind.) - Two local fire agencies responded to a house fire early Thursday morning.

Friendship Volunteer Fire and Versailles Fire Rescue were called to a home in the 600 block of 450 South around 4:00 AM.

Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters encountered smoke coming from the upper portion of the home.

Firefighters remained on the scene for about two hours.

No injuries were reported, and a cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The alleged thefts from Montgomery Township Volunteer Fire Department took place between 2021 and 2024.

Investigators confirmed victims experienced missing or delayed mail, including checks and other critical financial documents.

The competition is designed for founders in the earliest stages of business development.
