Parlour on The Avenue Named Business of the Year

The Greater Harrison Chamber of Commerce announced their annual award winners on Wed.

(Harrison, Oh.) - Greater Harrison Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has selected Parlour on the Avenue as the 2024 Greater Harrison Chamber Business of the Year.

"Parlour on the Avenue has been an anchor in Harrison's historic downtown district for 25 years," said Chamber Executive Director Sara Cullin. "We look forward to celebrating their success and sharing their small business story."

Susan Bourquein opened the salon in September 1999 at 120 Harrison Avenue in Harrison, Ohio. With her husband Terry, Susan has renovated the historic building and expanded services to establish a full-service, luxury spa.

The business and others will be recognized at a celebration Nov. 14, 2024.  Other award honorees include:

  • 2024 Greater Harrison Rising Star of the Year: Heather Jackson (Made In The Shade Cincinnati West)
  • 2024 Mary Lou Smith Community Service Award: Cindy Wuestefeld (FCN Bank)
  • 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award: Joe Maas
  • 2024 Greater Harrison Emerging Business of the Year: Co:Mission Collaborative
  • 2024 Greater Harrison Corporate Community Excellence Award: Conservative Financial Solutions
  • 2024 Greater Harrison Innovator of the Year: Hearth Brewing
  • 2024 Greater Harrison Chamber Non-Profit of the Year: Christ's Loving Hands

Greater Harrison Chamber of Commerce was established in 2013 to promote growth and prosperity in one of the fastest growing corners of Hamilton County. The Chamber provides networking, learning and cost-saving opportunities to businesses and organizations in Harrison, Ohio and the surrounding communities.
