The incident took place Thursday evening in Osgood.

(Osgood, Ind.) - Ripley County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a paramotor aircraft crash on Thursday evening.
The crash was reported around 7:36 p.m. in the area of Shook Street and County Rodd 300 N in Osgood.
Upon arrival, deputies located a male, who was identified as Timothy Miller, 18, of Moores Hill.
He was operating an aircraft when a gust of wind occurred while he was in the middle of gaining altitude just after takeoff. Miller lost control of his aircraft, which caused him to crash into a metal shelving unit on the property, causing significant injuries to his person.
Miller was transported to the University of Cincinnati via helicopter.
Osgood Fire, Ripley County EMS, FAA, Ripley County Communications, and Stat Flight 5 assisted the Ripley County Sheriff's Office.
