(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Lawrenceburg football head coach Ryan Knigga picked up his 150th career win on Friday night.
The Tigers defeated Greensburg 57-23 in the Class 3A Sectional 30 semifinal round.
Coach K is now 150-45 in his 16th season as Tigers head coach.
In that span, Knigga has led Lawrenceburg to eight sectional titles, two regional championships, and two state championship appearances.
"That doesn't happen unless you have great kids, great coaches and a community and an administration that supports you. When we started this back in 2011, my goal was to have a great experience for our kids. Provide a good experience, win some football games along the way, and provide an opportunity for our guys. We've been blessed and its been an awesome run, but as I told the guys after the game, we have more work to do," said Knigga.
The #2 Tigers (10-1) will travel to #12 Batesville (9-2) on Friday to contest in the Sectional 30 Championship Game.
Lawrenceburg defeated Batesville 35-20 in their last meeting on September 25.
