New Administrator Hired At Greendale Middle School

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – The Lawrenceburg Community School Corporation has announced the appointment of the new Greendale Middle School assistant principal and athletic director. The Board of Trustees approved Jason Caudill as the new GMS assistant principal and athletic director on May 31. “Mr. Caudill was chosen from a pool of candidates, and will begin July 1, 2016,” said Lawrenceburg Schools superintendent Karl Galey. “He said he is excited to put his energy and talents to work for the students, faculty, and community of Greendale Middle School and the Lawrenceburg Community School District as a whole." Caudill holds two bachelor’s degrees from Purdue and Northern Kentucky universities, and a master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in curriculum and instruction. The former environmental scientist has taught math and science for 12 years in several districts within Indiana and Florida. Caudill’s wife, Valerie, teaches science at Lawrenceburg High School Caudill will be replacing Steve Obertate, who retired at the end of the school year. “The school corporation would like to thank Steve Obertate for his years of service to the corporation and wish him the best in retirement,” Galey added.
