Cincinnati Man Takes First Place at Trojan Trot 5K

The second of six SIRC races was held on Saturday in St. Leon.

(St. Leon, Ind.) - The second of six Southeastern Indiana Racing Circuit events took place on Saturday. 

The Trojan Trot 5K was held in St. Leon to support the East Central Cross Country program. 

David Adamitis, 24, of Cincinnati, took first place in the event with a time of 17:35. His mile pace was 5:40. 

Lawrenceburg native Bradyn Hatton placed second. The 18-year-old finished the race in 17:57. Quinton Walker, 16, of Greensburg, was third with a time of 18:00. 

The top performing female was Alisha Detmer. The 21-year-old from Patriot placed 7th overall with a time of 18:59. 

Lanie Nicholson and Kirsten Geary finished 8th and 9th, respectively, with times of 19:14 and 19:34.
