By Travis Thayer (Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – A large contingent of southeast Indiana student-athletes have been honored for their commitment to excellence in the classroom. The Indiana Soccer Coaches Association released its 2016 Boys and Girls Academic All-State teams on Monday. Lawrenceburg High School led all southeast Indiana schools with 19 total selections between the girls and boys. Academic All-State selections must be a junior or senior, maintain a 3.7 GPA, and be a member of the varsity roster. A full list of Boys and Girls Academic All-State selections are listed below.
