Lawrenceburg River Sweep Happens Saturday

Volunteers are needed.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Volunteers are needed to clean up the riverbank in Lawrenceburg.

The City of Lawrenceburg will host their annual River Sweep on Saturday, September 14.

Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. with the event kicking off at 9:00. During registration, there will be free funny farm coffee. Volunteers may also register to win prizes and pick out a free t-shirt.

The clean-up effort will last until noon. At that time, volunteers may enjoy free pizza from Strong’s Brick Oven Pizzeria, in addition to the prize drawings.

Items have been donated from Blacklist, Busse Farms, K Busse Greens and Whit Acres.

Trash bags, trash pickers, buckets and gloves will be provided. Drinks will also be provided.
