(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Lawrenceburg Police K9 Handler Troy Cochran and K-9 Kilo were crucial in finding an elderly missing female.

On July 18, Officer Cochran was asked by the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office to assist in the search for a woman suffering from dementia that had been missing for several hours.

Officer Cochran gathered known intel from Deputy’s and spoke to the family to request an article of clothing used by the missing person – and a pillow was provided.

With K-9 Kilo having the scent, he was able to track the missing female to a location in a wooded area.
