KYTC to Host Informational Meetings for Potential Improvements to Dixie Highway

Meetings in Erlanger and Florence have been added to the schedule.

(Northern Kentucky) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) will hold a meeting on Tuesday, April 7 to provide information on a roadway reconfiguration project on Dixie Highway (U.S. 25) in Boone and Kenton counties.

This is the first in a series of informational meetings that will take place regarding the project.

Two more informational meetings will be held in Florence and Erlanger.

KYTC will hold a meeting on Thursday, April 23 at the Florence Government Center, and Tuesday, May 5 at the Erlanger City Building, related to the roadway reconfiguration project on Dixie Highway (U.S. 25). All informational meetings will be an open house format.

As part of a resurfacing project, and to enhance safety for all road users, a roadway reconfiguration on Dixie Highway (U.S. 25) between Turfway Road (KY 1017) and Commonwealth Avenue (KY 236) is planned. Drainage repairs have already taken place on this stretch of Dixie Highway. Crews are expecting to return in the coming weeks to address base failures to improve the road condition. KYTC will inform the public once base failure repairs have been scheduled.

If unable to attend the open house meetings, KYTC has provided a project website that includes information about the design, roadway reconfiguration facts and safety benefits.
