A familiar face takes over the program

(Batesville, Ind.) - Batesville High School has a new varsity baseball head coach and he is a familiar face.
Jared Keck has been promoted to head coach after serving the program since the 2022-23 season.
The South Ripley High School graduate was the varsity assistant for the past three seasons and served as the junior varsity head coach during the 2023 season.
Prior to coming to Batesville, Keck was an assistant coach for four years at his alma mater South Ripley. He played collegiately at Indiana University Southeast.
The Bulldogs went 17-11 last season and captured a sectional title in Class 3A.
